I hope to begin posting pictures from the shoot by next weekend!  STAY TUNED!

I’d like to do this for a living if I could

Tomorrow is… THE… BIG… DAY!  It’s almost here and I bought two huge bottles of champagne to celebrate ;)

I just received all the confirmations from every designer and each blogger, that the pulls have all been scheduled for tomorrow’s shoot.  As you know, I am producing my second fashion photoshoot alongside Jake Narciso.  Our first photoshoot earlier this year, was trend based and all the blogger/models worked with their own personal wardrobe to create 4 looks.  This time around, I was feeling the need to get more creative and make more connections.  I introduced myself to 6 local LA designers, told them about this awesome multi-cross-promo project, and asked if we could feature their most current collections, and then I paired them up with 6 local LA bloggers.

Over the last few weeks, I have posted features on each amazing Los Angeles designer, which I hand-picked for this photoshoot; and I have also posted interviews on all of the beautiful and inspiring Los Angeles bloggers.

In case you missed them — here they are:

Kiara of Tobruck Ave for Jen Awad

Lara of What’s Haute in the Streets for Rory Beca

Mel of Modanista Junkie for Kucoon

Jenny of Good Bad N Fab for Ellie Lavelle

Ami of Fashion ROI for Kittin Hawk

West Hollywood’s Structures & Style Tour 2011 – Fashion Blueprints

Photos courtesy of Joshua Barash

Two weekends ago, I attended the Structures & Style event in Weho; it was a nicely executed guided walking and (air-conditioned, thank God) shuttle tour, with behind the scenes peek at the latest design and architecture concepts in the City of West Hollywood, and mimosas and yummy bites from Craig’s restaurant.

This year’s Structures & Style tour featured:  Alberta Ferretti, 3.1 Phillip Lim, H.L.N.R., Church Boutique, Roseark – all of which are considered to be some of the most inspiring fashion retailers, and housed in stunning and unique spaces. These significant architectural and design-centric concepts create amazing interiors and facades that showcase brands to consumers and introduce one-of-a-kind shopping experiences only found in West Hollywood.

I love LA.

Retail/Blogger Camp Los Angeles 2011

View all photos on the Fashion Groupie website

RetailCamp, was an interactive two-day conference, held in Los Angeles April 9th & 10th, 2011. RetailCamp brought together apparel and retail industry professionals, bloggers and designers and focused on how to use technology as a marketing, business and brand development tool.

The face of fashion is changing. The divide between designer and consumer is shrinking more and more, and fashion is becoming an exciting community in which everyone can participate. Technology is giving everyone a chance to play a role in the industry.  It was an amazing chance for the fashion forward to meet some of the technology industry’s leading experts.

The event was sponsored by FashionablyMarketing.Me, WWDMAGIC and Woodbury University.
